"I highly regret being referred to State Farm and this particular Agent and his team. I obtained homeowners insurance with them back in April which even (my lenders mentioned the excessive rate) a month later added car insurance thinking it would save money and didn't. When asked why the car insurance was so high (over $200 for a 12yr old Honda) you would think they would try to be accommodative and try to bring it down but no I had to tell the agent to take things off. Fast forward I purchased a new vehicle and the rate of course goes up over $300 I asked why is it so high again and this lady gets Sarcastic and Says it's a Mercedes. Forward to August my premium is over $500 this month due to a discount being taken off not at my fault again no accommodation no apologies nothing they can do. September comes my premium is still at over $500 I call to ask why and I'm told it's been $500 like I'm not aware of what I've been paying since The purchase of the new vehicle. I've sent emails to Mr. Cathey in the past with no response not happy with their service at all and will be shopping for new Company I refuse to patronize anyone with this kind of Customer Service. Unless You're grandfathered in to any policies pre Covid their rates are ridiculous and I'm tired of all these companies using this as an excuse insurance is already a scam and to add to it increase rates to ridiculous prices. Ive never in life paid over $200 for car insurance until now, but State Farm Seems to be amongst the highest with their premiums. How on earth would my premium be more than what my actual car note is that's absolutely ridiculous."
